I took this photo of my little sister, Madelyn, while she was asleep. I applied a gaussian blur to the entire photo, and then went back and sharpened her eyelashes and mouth a little bit. I enjoy seeing detail in photo, so I thought sharpening those was appropriate. I also used the 'burn' tool to burn the few freckles on the bridge of her nose. Again, I love detail, so I think that helped the photo. Lastly, I desaturated her sweatshirt a little bit, because I felt like it took away from the natural color of her lips. I really like the way this photo turned out.
